Aikido & Origami Christmas edition

Making Aikido Christmas Balls Together

The holidays are the time to enjoy together creativity & conviviality. This year, we are taking a slightly different approach at Ando. Instead of just Christmas baubles and garlands, we are adding adding a touch of Japanese culture to the Christmas tree. How? By making your own samurai helmet to fold!

Origami is not only a fun and relaxing activity, but also a wonderful way to teach children something about Japanese traditions. How cool is it to hang a homemade samurai helmet on the tree as a Christmas ornament? It makes your Christmas decorations personal, unique and also provides a great story!

It's also fun to make this keepsake with a friend, that's what the holidays are all about. And if you need some help folding?

No worries! I made a handy video explaining step by step how to make an impressive samurai helmet. Watch the video here.

Hang your own creations in the tree, take a photo, and show us how your Christmas tree shines via socials. We look forward to seeing your masterpiece!

Will you fold with us? Together, let's make this Christmas unforgettable with a touch of Aikido creativity and fun!
