Discover Europe's best (female) Aikido masters at the Ando seminar in the Netherlands! This will Shihan (grootmeester) Michelle Feilen teaching, along with sensei Malory Graham, Anne and Edo Slui. The one thing that connects us all; Aikido.

Michelle Feilen is 6th Dan Aikido, Shihan, and thus one of the highest graded female Sensei in Europe. She was born in 1971 and has been practising Aikido since 1980. She is a student of Yamada SenseiShe has made it her profession to teach Aikido. In addition to teaching in the dojo she has in Barcelona, she has also given self-defence classes to the Catalan police in the past.

Characteristic for the style of Michelle Feilen Sensei is the contact with the UkeThis makes her training very interesting and of high technical level as she focuses mainly on the interaction between Tori and Uke. This makes her trainings technically very interesting and of a high level, because she focuses on the interaction between Tori and Uke.

After five years, Sensei Malory Graham is back at Ando dojo. She began her training in 1988 and received her 6th Dan from Yamada Sensei. Besides Yoshimitsu Yamada, it is Yoko Okamoto who inspires her Aikido. Now living in Sweden, she promotes Aikido and encourages women to take up Aikido. Her Aikido is characterised by beautiful round movements and relaxed but direct throws.
