And also thank you for the seminar. We have some questions, we are very curious about you Aikido and your journey. If you can answer the questions for us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Sure<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> Which Aikido technique do you like the most?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Maki Otoshi! Because it\u2019s fun.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> How fun.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> So much fun<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> What let you to this favorite technique?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Kanai-sensei was a big influence in my training and he loved it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> How many times have you done this technique in your Aikido career?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> I don\u2019t know but probably longer than you have been alive&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> You think it has been like a majority of things you do, or do you reserve it for special occasions?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Mostly reserved for special occasions or special classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> Why did you choose to begin Aikido?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> My boyfriend at that time was taking it and I wanted to know why he was never home. The boyfriend didn\u2019t last but the Aikido did.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> And thinking back how has Aikido changed for you over the different years?<\/p><p><b>Chris:<\/b> My personal Aikido is less about throwing and more about the journey to find out how to do the throw.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> More being the journey than the physical part of the technique, do you think it is more on the inside or on the outside or an combination?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Combination definitely.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> What would be your tip for other Aikidoka\u2019s for their journeys within Aikido?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Practice and more practice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> What do you want to share with other Aikidoka\u2019s during your seminar?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Have fun and enjoy while you practice. Enjoy your partner and keep everyone safe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> Could you give us a hint as to how your are going to do that during our seminar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Ow no, if I did that I would have to kill you&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> That would be a great way for us to close the interview and for me to run away while I can.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for the interview.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> Thank you too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> Just one more question if you will. What do you like most of Michelle Feilen-shihan\u2019s Aikido?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> She is just so special, just the way she moves. And the way she practices. It\u2019s a thing of beauty to watch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> For how long have you known each other?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> About 25 years probably.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviewer:<\/strong> How would describe her style?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris:<\/strong> It\u2019s beautiful, its her own style.
