Sansuikai International is an organisation created by Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan. In order to connect his direct students in a certain continent. There is such a Sansuikai for South America and Europe. Affiliated dojos retain their own autonomy, but especially seek mutual interaction in terms of exchange in knowledge, seminars and friendship. Acting together creates more cohesion and spread of Aikido.

SAN 山 : Berg.
SUI 水 : Water
KAI 会 : Association.
It is a non-profit organisation, directly and officially recognised by Aikikai 合気会, Tokyo, Japan through Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan. Watch the website.
Edo and Anne Slui are the only direct students of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan in the Netherlands. Thus, they represent Yamada Sensei and Sansuikai, in their own country. It is both an honour and a great responsibility to be able to do this.
Ando is closely associated with Sansuikai and, among others, organised the first official Sansuikai seminar with Peter van Marck and Silvia Eschenlauer in 2013. This went down so well that it is now organised every year. During this seminar, several Sansuikai teachers come to Antwerp to teach over a weekend. The amount of lessons and diversity makes it a huge success.
