Hieronder stellen alle trainers zichzelf even kort voor. Alle sensei’s bij Ando hebben een VOG en een geldig Oranje Kruis Sport-EHBO diploma. Zodat je weet dat je veilig traint.
You can already find a lot about us on our website, so below we tell you a bit more about ourselves and what drives us. Edo has made his hobby his job. He is a real 'creative', with Ando dojo as his playground. For example, several Aikido shirts have rolled out of his sleeve (and personally printed), but also has a Aikido children's book to his name. Anything that can be designed or creatively taken to a new level... that makes him happy.
Anne; besides my passion for Aikido and other budo sports, which I have been practising for several years now, I keep myself busy with lifelong learning and development. I have always been interested in humanity and its purpose on earth. But also the interpretation we give it, the systems we devise and the developments we experience. I use my professorship for that purpose to be allowed to explore these issues and impart knowledge. My studies in commercial economics (within the sports world), teacher training in General Economics and now my Master's degree in Management Sciences give me the basis to better understand the world from a Western perspective. This together with all the knowledge from Aikido, Eastern philosophy, gives me the feeling of a balanced outlook on life. During my Aikido classes, I zoom in on various themes relevant to development on and off the mat. If you want to hear more about us, listen to our Aikido podcast. Recently, sensei Anne was in the news for being allowed to teach in Montreal. Read the Aikido newspaper article or view it article here.
