Our Aikido classes

Aikido as a sport

In our Aikido class, your child will learn social and motor skills, dealing with difficult situations (such as bullying and arguments). With time, you will see self-confidence grow and your child increasingly dare to stand up for himself.

Aiki warriors (4+)
Children's aikido (7+)
Youth Aikido (12+)

DURING OUR AIKIDO LESSONS, CHILDREN LEARN HOW TO ROLL, RELAX, BREATHE, CONCENTRATE AND MUCH MORE. WE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT CHILDREN WHO LEARN IN THEIR OWN WAY, SO WE MAKE SURE EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME.

Aiki warriors (4+)

Whereas the children's class (7+) already really works with Aikido techniques, our little warriors mainly learn tumbling Aikido. These are structured three-quarter-hour classes, where they train together, frolic, push, pull and, above all, learn to fall.

Aikido: the path of harmony and inner strength.

Youth class (12+)

Our focus during youth Aikido classes is more on the martial side of Aikido. Thus, we challenge them in different areas. We create awareness and work on fitness. In the lessons, we use situations and how to deal with them in the best possible way. In summer Urban Aikido an excellent component where we train e.g. No-gi (without an Aikido suit). This is how we bring Aikido as a sport closer to the experience of young people.

Adult class

Adult classes are offered mixed at different locations (from 14 years of age). By studying the background of aikido, it may have become clearer that Aikido as a sport has a nice balance between the budo elements (true self-defence) and spirituality (mind-set). Because of this comprehensiveness, it is sometimes difficult to explain what Aikido is. But to give an idea.

Senior Aikido classes

Aikido knows no age. Whether you are 50+ or older, Aikido is for everyone. The flowing movements keep your body supple and strong, without hard impact or competition. You train at your own level, in a respectful, cooperative environment. Aikido not only strengthens your body, but also your mind. It is an art of living that grows with you, at any age.
